Our products are meant to be stored at room temperature so we would advise against freezing them. Our products should not be frozen in the pouch packaging.
However, you may use a separate freezer-safe container. Please be aware that freezing may change the flavour characteristics of the product and we are unable to guarantee the quality of the taste after the contents are frozen.

All our products carry a Best before, which is 18 months from our manufacture date. For the best quality and freshness, we recommend using the products within this time. Studies have shown that our products remain shelf-stable up to 18 months after the Best before on the pouch or 36 months from manufacture date. However, we’d still recommend using your discretion when consuming our products.

TASTY BITE® products are great companions for many of our outdoor enthusiast consumers... It's great for on the go, inside and out. The products we offer are cooked within the pouch at the factory level and only need to be heated up to enjoy. Therefore you may place the pouches in boiling water to heat up the contents.

Our TASTY BITE® products are shelf stable.  As long as the pouches have not been opened, they do not need to be refrigerated, nor frozen.  The pouches are called retort pouches and the preservation process is similar to canning.  Therefore you may store the pouches in a cupboard, or pantry, or any other room temperature storage plac

We recommend refrigerating any remaining contents after the pouch has been opened and heated. Please be aware that reheating may change the flavor characteristics of the product, and we cannot guarantee the quality of the taste after the contents are reheated.

You can eat TASTY BITE® products right out of the pouch. No preparation or cooking is necessary.

You may also transfer the contents from the pouch to a pot and heat it on the stovetop for 1-3 minutes or until it reaches your desired temperature. These instructions are also provided on the TASTY BITE® food pouches.

To heat up our rice and entrees, we recommend following the heating instructions provided on the TASTY BITE food pouches. Our products are already cooked within the pouches at the factory, so all you need to do is heat them up before enjoying them.
