Our packaging is called a retort pouch. This technology allows us to assemble and cook the ingredients within the package. Therefore the product becomes shelf stable for 18 months+. The components that make up the retort technology are not currently recyclable. However we are working with various packaging technologists to research recyclable alternatives while maintaining the great taste, good value, and real convenience that our consumers have come to love.
