COOKING STEPS

  1. 1
Prepare the Fritter Dough: In a medium mixing bowl, thoroughly mash the crumbled paneer and peeled, cooled potato together using a fork until smooth and uniform.
  2. 2
Season & Shape: Add the chickpea flour, cornstarch, kosher salt, ground coriander, ground cumin, and garam masala to the potato-paneer mixture. Stir well until completely combined and pliable. Roll the dough into small 1-inch (2.5 cm) balls.
  3. 3
Fry to Golden Perfection: Heat approximately 1 cup (240 ml) of vegetable oil in a skillet or deep saucepan over medium-high heat. Fry the dumplings in batches until crisp and evenly golden brown on all sides. Remove with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels; set aside.
  4. 4
Simmer the Masala & Serve: In a separate medium sauté pan over medium heat, whisk together the Tasty Bite Vegetable Tikka Masala and coconut milk until smooth. Gently fold in the fried dumplings and bring to a gentle simmer for 3–5 minutes so the dumplings absorb the sauce. Garnish generously with chopped fresh coriander and serve hot with rice or naan!
